Join us on one of our Trail & Sail voyages and experience the best of two worlds: mindful trail running and sailing. These voyages offer nature-loving running enthusiasts the opportunity to explore and discover the magnificent and pristine landscapes of the far North by sea aboard our pilot cutter Ezra and by land on beautifully winding trails that lead you from one stunning vista to the next – a truly unique experience!
Aboard Ezra, we sail along by the rhythm of the sea, enjoying the freedom and the vastness of the northern ocean and discovering new shores each and every day. On land, we find our own rhythm while running and hiking in unspoilt nature. Far from your busy everyday life, we go with the flow and without any pressure, playfully exploring the terrain and aiming to fully take in what our surroundings have to offer – from resting to enjoy breath-taking views to tackling challenging stretches along the way.
Ezra serves as our base, allowing us to anchor in remote bays, delivering us to our trail heads by Zodiac, and picking us up again – usually in a different place – after yet another unforgettable experience on land.
Every day, we cover roughly 10-15 km on foot on trails of varying difficulty, requiring you to bring intermediate-level trail running skills and fitness as well as a healthy dose of sure-footedness with you. During the briefing before each run, we jointly adapt our itinerary to the weather conditions and to the level of fitness of everyone in the group. We’re not aiming to break any records but to experience our surroundings to the fullest…
